Introducing the CERT (Civilian Emergency Response Team) Incident Command Vest Kitª. CERT is about readiness, people helping people, rescuer safety, and doing the greatest good for the greatest number. Through training citizen volunteers have acquired a working knowledge of utilities management, fire suppression, and search and rescue. In the future the role of CERT in response planning will be greatly expanded.
